Oligohydramnios, (low amniotic fluid), breech screening

My firstborn, Brian was born by planned C/S in 1996. At 32 weeks the OB noticed a heart arrythmia, PVCs, but no cause was found. On U/S they also discovered oligohydramnios, low amniotic fluid, and he was breech. I was put on bedrest and had U/S monitoring of the fluid level 3-4x/week until delivery at 39.5 weeks. Brian was fine, except for PVCs, which cleared up within 2 months. No cause was found for the low amniotic fluid or PVCs. In my heart, I feel he was breech because he didn't have enough room to turn, due to the low amniotic fluid.

I am pregnant again, now at 31 weeks. What is the chances of having low amniotic fluid again? Should I be checked for this with an U/S, and if so, when? My OB does not check for this unless there is some other problem. So far this pregnancy is normal. I am 36 and an hoping for a VBAC.

Is there anything I can do to raise my amniotic fluid level, such as herbal remedies?

I just came back from my 31 week OB appt, and this baby is also breech. I know it is early yet, and he may still turn. However, my first son seemed to be breech from 20 weeks on, and always kicked me in the same spot. This baby has also been only kicking me in the same spot as my first son. Thank you in advance.
