Re: measurementsFrom: Terry (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Jul 1999 12:19:34 -0500 (CDT)
Dear Jo, below are the numbers you reported; however, I must say that I think there is some confusion... you need to go to your obstetrician or back to the sonographic laboratory for clarification. Your numbers do not make sense. At 16w 5d (16.7 weeks) the following are what the measurements should be approximately: Bi-parietal diameter (BPD) = 36mm Crown-rump length (CRL) = 110 mm Femur length (FL) = 22 mm (a FL of 21 mm is OK) Abdominal circumference (AC) = 111 mm Head Circumference (HC) 128 mm This does not mean that there is anything wrong with your pregnancy, but the numbers you have, for the most part, do not appear to be measurements or dates. They are probably some kind of Table listing that has nothing to do with your exam. But someone from the laboratory who performed the sonography is in the best position to explain what these numbers mean. Good luck with your pregnancy. Peace, Terry J.
