Hi Cindy,

I am not a doctor, but back home I have worked in Maternity hospitals, and at 26 weeks I think there is still plenty of time for your baby to turn. As long as the ultrasound did not show any physical reasons preventing your baby from turning, it will do so when it is ready. In Australia they would not worry too much about it but if it was still tranverse or breech at around 35 weeks then it would be further investigated. You will be closely watched. Inversion is usually attempted as late as possible, often 37 or 38 weeks, but is avoided if possible due to the risks involved with this procedure. Babies are funny things, they can turn very late in the pregnancy. Relax and enjoy, he will assume 'launch' position in his own good time!
