After 38 weeks, your chances of going into labor are around 5% per day. The biggest risk is not that of having to deliver in San Diego, but rather of delivering on the side of the freeway trying to get back to LA. Save the wear and tear on your anxiety muscles, and stay closer to home for the next month.
