Most of what I want to say has already been said, but I do have one more comment. I have to question the motives of someone who would deliberately come to a website with the address: http://www.obgyn.net to bash doctors. It's a really pathetic attempt to further polarize the opinions of people!

Everyone is entitled to their own views, but if you *really* wanted to help people, you might have read the posts and archived information first. Then you might see that there are several midwives who are a part of this forum! They are quite vocal around here, but the difference is, they don't try to say that *they* are right. The way I see it, this forum is for the purpose of disseminating (how appropriate the root of this word is!) information, not opinions.
