Re: Ovulation Pain

Gosh, this seems so familiar to me! I know I've been there once or twice, but don't recall doing anything about it and it went away in a few days. I was on Clomid then. I chalked it up to ovary overstimulation, and its still a possibility even if you're not on clomid or the like. I remember it even felt like there was some fluid around my ovary, but that could have been imagined because I'd bet right now I couldn't pinpoint to where my ovary was! LOL. Anyway, do you have an HMO that you could call and they could tell you if it sounded like anything to worry about? That's one nice thing about "medical advice" for me with my hmo, 24 hours I can call and tell them how I'm feeling and they can say whether or not I should try this or that or come in for an appointment, etc. Even without that service by my HMO some of the local hospitals are offering this free service even if you're not a patient there because they want your business.

It was so funny once when I called a local number of a medical advice line after taking a hard fall off a horse (I landed on my hip and had had nothing to eat that day) and my husband insisted I go to the hospital when I got home -- I had symptoms of concussion even though I didn't hit my head in the fall - I had slurred speech and was uncoordinated, etc., and when the nurse on the phone asked me "do you normally talk like that?" I said no, and she agreed with my husband. LOL! I wasn't admitted, just treated and released in a few hours, feeling much better after throwing up, getting an IV for that, and taking a nap. :-) That was an experience I'll never forget, I still laugh about it and I didn't end up with any bruises either, its one of those things I wonder about. I bruise pretty easy. Very strange!

Sorry for my diversion. Everyone loves to tell stories! I hope you are feeling better soon and that you have one of these free medical advice phone lines where you live. Take care and keep us informed of how things are going!!
