Wow, we must have pretty close due dates! I'm due 2/10/00. Just today, Wednesday, I've reached my 8 week gestation/10 week LMP mark! I don't know if its "hearsay" or not, but from what I've heard some doctors were telling their first trimester patients that once a heartbeat is heard the chance of miscarriage drops to something like 5%. Good luck and hang in there! I know I'm so very scared at this time too, though somewhat trying to take "comfort" in my very obvious and discomfortable signs of pregnancy like my all too present Morning Sickness, exhaustion, and the like. You are so lucky to have had the heatbeat done so early, my doctor won't do it until 12 weeks, and my next appointment to hear it will be first week of August. Seems so long off! Good luck, and keep us up to date on how things are going. :-)
