I am 26 weeks pregnant with my second child, sixth pregnancy. I had to see a doctor other than an OB three days ago because I was hurting very low in my abdomen. He took a urine specimen and discovered blood, and therefore diagnosed me with a bladder infection. Here's my question. I've been on Amoxicillin 500mg for three days now, and can feel little relief. I am still hurting quite a bit and I thought for sure that I'd be feeling better now. The baby still moves fine, but I am so sore. Could it be that I have something other than a bladder infection that would cause blood in my urine? I am scheduled to see my OB in a couple of days, but am wondering should I go in sooner. Thanks for any information you can give me.
