You have every right to ask any question any time. Yes it is normal to ask questions and want to know about your baby. I would be more concerned if you did not ask questions. I get more than a little concerned when doctors become so defensive. Granted, it is hard to pin down outcomes as so much is still unknown, but you should have been completely informed about all your options, possible outcomes to the best of his ability. I would personally demand this and if I did not get it, I would get a second opinion. I would even consider changing doctors, as I want a physician who is totally honest with me. KG
