<< Cut backs at many hospitals have caused them to not offer the "velcro-girdle" for their post-op C-sect. patients. I didn't get one until my 2nd C-sect. I truly feel that the girdle is a great help. A wrapped sheet with tape or a book just does NOT do it. (The girdle helps a patient feel like their insides wont "fallout" whenever they cough or move, etc) I believe if most women knew about the girdle the would pay out of their own pockets if they had too. (It's only about $20?) My question is how can women find this girdle if it is not offered at their hospital? I know a co-worker who's in her last trimester of her 4th impending C-section. Just the suggestion of this girdle has eased some of her anxiety. >>

I agree! This Girdle is wonderful! I had one after my first c-section and my what a difference it makes in the support it gives!
