hysteroscopyFrom: Valerie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 30 Jun 1999 10:03:16 -0400
Two days ago my Dr made a second attempt at a sodium infused ultrasound (I'm allergic to iodine so can't do a hystosalpingogram) as part of my work up after three miscarriages. He injected the saline three times for just a few seconds, but this was the worst pain I have ever been in! He was somewhat surprised that I was in so much pain, and mentioned that is was not common. As of today I am still cramping but have stopped bleeding. Has anyone else had this experience? Also, does anyone have any opinions about me trying to get pregnant next week, immediately after this procedure? I am to take baby asprin and progesterone. Thanks for your input! Valerie
