Hi Victoria, Why do you have a 30% risk? Have you miscarried in the past? It is said that perhaps as many as 50% of conceptions end in miscarriage but so many are very early - before the woman knows she is pregnant and then assumes it is a heavy, slightly late period. High-risk is a broad classification. It can include maternal health considerations such as diabetes, uterine anomalies, or other conditions, complications from the current pregnancy such as an early abruption, multiple gestations, gestational diabetes, past obstetrical history including multiple losses, pre-eclampsia, macrosomia, and so much more. Let's see what the medical professionals have to say. Great question. :)
