In august of 1998 ,I beacme pregnant , during this time I began to notice an occasional hard thump in my chest. In October 1998 I had a misscarriage and I thought the thump would go away since I was no longer pregnant, but it didn't. It has been a year almost and I still get this hard single thump in my chest , I notice it mostly after eating. I went to see two cardiologist and the first said it was mitral valve prolaspe. Six months later I decided to seek a second opinion and this doctor said I was having extra beats and they were nothing to worry and that I could go ahead and try for another pregnancy, which I did and I am now almost a month and the beats seems to come more frequently now. I am very afraid and stressed out over the beats. I would like to know why they showed up when iI became pregnant and if there is maybe some type of deficiency my body could have to cause them.

p.s also the second doctor said I did't have mvp?
