Re: Irregular HeartbeatsFrom: jonell (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 26 Jun 1999 17:32:36 -0500 (CDT)
In august of 1998 ,I beacme pregnant , during this time I began to notice an occasional hard thump in my chest. In October 1998 I had a misscarriage and I thought the thump would go away since I was no longer pregnant, but it didn't. It has been a year almost and I still get this hard single thump in my chest , I notice it mostly after eating. I went to see two cardiologist and the first said it was mitral vlalve prolase. Six months later I decided to seek a second opinion and this doctor said I was having extra beats and they were nothing to worry and that I could go ahead and try for another pregnancy, which I did and I am now almost a month and the beats seems to come more frequently now. I am very afraid and stressed out over the beats. I would like to know why they showed up when iI became pregnant and if there is maybe some type of deficiency my body could have to cause them. jonell
