I would like the sensitivity of pregnancy tests explained. IE. If my HCG is doubling everyday (If I am pregnant) and tests can detect as early as the day I am late, why would a test three days later possibly be negative too (as I have been told it could be...)??? Also what is the range of sensitivity for pregnancy tests (over-the counter, what doctors use--urine and blood)????

What tests have the best sensitivity?????

None of the tests I have seen list their sensitivity--the company I have called says there sensitivity is a 50. How sensitive is this????Can anyone explain the math so I can understand what this means for me??? >>

Here is a Link that will give your Pregnancy Test Sensitivity Levels. FertilityPlus: Home Pregnancy Test hCG Levels & FAQ
