bleeding in early pregnancyFrom: Terrie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 12 Jun 1999 15:47:41 -0500 (CDT)
I am 7 weeks pregnant. On Wednesday, June 9, I had an ultrasound due to some very light bleeding. Ultrasound showed normal fetus, yolk sac, etc. Heart rate of 128. They did spot a cyst on my right ovary. On Thursday, June 10, I experienced VERY heavy bleeding, emergency room visit and additional ultrasound again showed normal fetus, yolk sac, heartbeat 137, hcg 74,100, but an "implantation tear". So now I am playing the waiting game. Hcg level today (two days later) are only up to 80,000. Why did they increase so little and how dangerous is this implantation tear? Am I miscarrying?
