>I know this may sound silly, but I am 31 weeks and just can't fall >asleep on my left side. I can't find any negative literature on >sleeping on my right side, but everything says to sleep on my left. Is >it worth calling my doctor over this???? SLEEP WHERE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE!! It is best for the baby that you are rested. Unless your BP is elevated or your dr. told you specifically to sleep on your left for a reason don't worry about it at all. Sleeping on your left creates optimum blood flow for the baby but certainly is not mandatory for a healthy baby.
