When I turned 30 my periods stopped. I have two or three a year. I ache to have children and am so frustrated with my situation. Ultrasound yesterday revealed buildup of uterine lining. I have been bleeding/spotting since May 31. Dr. informed me all else looked good but she was concerned with the lining. Prescribed Prometrium to hopefully shed some of the thickness. I have read up on possible side effects and guess i am looking for some reassurance that my situation isn't hopeless. Also curious why Doc never seemed concerned of missing periods when yesterday she told me it could lead to uteran cancer. Also, she wants to give me Clomid and said multiple rate is minimal with this drug.
