Re: MISCARRIAGEFrom: chris (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 09 Jun 1999 05:59:40 PDT
I am so sorry to hear about your losses. I have experienced one still birth, and was also devistated. That was two years age, and for the longest time, I coulden't even get myself to pick up an infant (I used to WORK in childcare) I just found it too dificult. I also did experience close to hate for every pregnant woman I saw, it's the whole feeling of why do they get this and I don't? I think that this is a normal greif response. Have you considered greif councelling? I was pushed into it, and found that it helped me a lot. Also, depending on how long ago you had your misscarriages, have you considered that you might be experiencing post partum depression? I went through that, and since I didn't have a baby in my arms, no on thought to look at that possibility. Not that it helps at all now, but you will get through this. I can't imagine how hard it must be to have gone through this twice. Please, try to stop beeing yourself up about how you feel. You have gone through someting very traumatic, and need some time so sort things out. I wish you the best, Christine
