Most likely he/she will tell you to go to your hospital, where a L&D nurse can perform a very simple test to see if your discharge is amniotic fluid. They'll put some on a special strip of paper, where the fluid (if it is fluid) will make a fern like pattern on the paper. I had this very same thing, and didn't check to see if it was fluid, and kick myself often for not doing so as it would have been so simple to put my mind at ease (I had some complications that may or may not have been related, but I'll never know, just know what I would do differently now). You pay this doctor to be bothered and they don't mind these types of questions at all. Set your mind at ease, the weekend is coming, please call. Good luck!!!
