HI at my last gyn yearly exam I inquired about prenatals as I am planning on another (2nd child). I was told regular OTC vitamins are fine as long they have 400mcg of Folate. For example Centrum which I currently take. I want to know if this advice is correct. I took prenatals w/ my first child at least 1-2 months prior to conceiving. This is a different doctor from my first doc. She did give my a sample of prenatals to try. So what is better prenatals or OTC? Thanks!Oh, I did compare the iron amounts-prenatals have more than OTC so which is better?
