34 weeks -- when should hubby stop traveling

I am currently 34 weeks pregnant, measuring 39 cm, and 1.5 cm dilated, but cervix is firm. My first son was born at 37 weeks after a total of 5 hours for labor and delivery. I get the impression that my doc is not very optimistic that I'll get much past 38 weeks.

At what point should my husband cut back his travel and how much? I would hate for the baby to be born in Phoenix while he's in Las Vegas!!
