Congratulations! I'm no doctor, just a new mom. Pregnancies are dated from the first day of your last missed period, so does that make you 3 weeks or 7 weeks (based upon the average 28 day cycle)? In any case, now would be a good time to call your GP or OB/GYN and make an appointment, most doctors want to see you for the first time between 6 and 10 weeks. As far as breast tenderness, symptoms in early pregnancy can wax and wane from day to day, and some women get no symptoms at all. Every pregnancy is different. If you're thinking about taking cold medicine, please contact your doctor first, as some OTC medications can cause problems with baby. A good book to get is "What to Expect When You're Expecting", although I found if I read it too much it made me a tad neurotic (it's debatable that I'm always like that anyway!!) :o) Good luck with your pregnancy!! Remember to rest lots, your body is working overtime, and enjoy this time!!!
