I had my 33 weeks checkup this morning and the dr checked my cervix (1 1/2 cm, firm) since he is a little concerned about this baby coming early. I am now having some brown spotting. I called the office and the nurse said the spotting is from the exam and to not have intercourse tonight. Is it common to have spotting after an exam? How much is considered normal? When should it stop?
