I was due 05/10/99 (according to u/s at 18 weeks) and I had a Dr appt that same day. He told me I was not dialated and my cervix was still posterior. I think I lost my mucous plug today, it was clear and very thick, and it was enough to fill a shot glass. Does this mean that my cervix is starting to thin out and dialate? I hear that it can happen over hours or days in some people instead of weeks. Can labor be getting ready to start or do I still have a couple of weeks? I have also been getting these sharp stabbing pains on my cervix, which I think is the baby moving her head. Thanks in advance for any responses!!!!
