My sister-in-law had a c/s on Mar 8. A couple weeks later she had a nasty infection that opened the incision and landed her in the hospital for a couple of day. Now it's been almost 2 months since the surgery, and the incision is still open and they're still packing it with gauze. How long do these things take to heal? Why can't the dr just suture the incision again to help it get closed up? Is this a common complication of c-section? thanks, Andrea
