Dear Amanda I assume you are pregnant? there is no harm from caffeine in pregnancy, but most pregnant patients stop drinking coffee (but not tea or coke both of which have just as much caffeine!) because they don't like the taste. There is a well recognised caffeine withdrawal headache (mine lasts up to six days!) which responds well to simple analgesics. Simple analgsesics (e.g paracetamol) are safe in pregnancy but you should discuss other potential causes of headaches with your OB.
