It is normal for women who have already had a baby to have a cervix that is not completely closed. As long as there are no other signs of preterm labor, I would not be very worried about it. I'd be more concerned about why he is checking your cervix at 31 weeks. Were you having other signs of preterm labor that made him curious? ****************************** Suzanne S.
