CaffeineFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 30 Apr 1999 10:19:53 EDT
Do any of the doctors have an opinion on light caffeine consumption? I get headaches that begin in the afternoon and can build up. If I just try to grin and bear it, the headache will continue thru the night and last for several days. If I drink an iced tea or cola when I feel the headache coming on it seems to relieve it. I asked my doctor's Physician Assistant who said that taking tylenol is a better idea but I don't like the idea of taking tylenol every day (that is how often I get the headaches). What is safer, 100 to 200 mg caffeine or two tylenol daily? By the way I am about 18 weeks pregnant. Amanda
