I'm a high risk pg patient due to 3 losses (2 early 1 2nd trimester). I am 18.4 wks pg and have been having sharp pains in my vagina. This really concerns me. I've also been experiencing achiness around my uterus (I can't seem to get comfortable).

I am high risk due to premature labor (with my 2nd tri loss). So far, I am having contractions and am on Slow MAG 2 pills every 4 hours (since 12 weeks) and 3 Ibuprofren a day (since 17.6 wks). However, my cervix remains unchanged - still tight, firm and closed both inside and out. I know this is a good sign but due to the contractions I'm concerned with the pain I'm experiencing. Is this a normal pain in pregnancy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
