Brownish Discharge....period or pregnant?From: Linda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 26 Apr 1999 19:10:41 -0500 (CDT)
I have been off the pill since August 1998 and I took my temps and charted for 5 months, stopping in January. I learned that my cycles are, on average, 25 days long, and I ovulate between days 11-13. This month I did not have painful cramps like I usually do and I am only spotting. I started spotting yesterday and it's brown in color. Usually I spot brown for a few hours then I start to bleed red. Is there any chance I could be pregnant? My fiancé and I had sex about 2-3 days before I ovulated (I know I ovulated this month, I experienced pain and even spotted lightly). Could I still become pregnant even though we had sex a few days prior to ovulation? And if this spotting keeps on, should I be worried? I bought a home pregnancy test but afraid to take it. Thanks for any input.
