low dose aspirin in fetal growth retardationFrom: catia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 17 Apr 1999 11:36:10 -0500 (CDT)
Hi there,on january 98 I had the terrible experience of having to deliver a dead baby ...doctors had diagnosed intrauterine growth retardation.3 months ago I had a miscarriage at the second month...today I found out I am pregnant and as you can imagine.....horrified. More than one doctor had suggested I should take baby aspirin everyday from the beginning of the pregnancy. Can that help? Can it do any harm? At the moment I am in Beijing ..just got here and do not know any doctor which makes it worse...I am always on the move (in the sense that I change Country often) but I should be here for at least 2 years. Please note that the autopsy on the baby had revealed no abnormalities nor did the tests carried on me and my husband. I just need some advises as I heard it could happen again....what should I do....I am completely lost. I really appreciate your help. Catia
