Confusion with dates often arise as doctors calculate pregnancy from the date of the last menstrual period (often before sexual intercourse has occurred) not from conception. For a due date of 25/5/95, the date of 5/9/94 would be near enough midcycle for most women for conception to be possible. However the date would have either been calculated by the last menstrual period (around 2/8/94)or USS which can have an error of up to 11 days depending on how early it was done.
