Good morning. Firstly I would like to thank all the doctors on this board for their frank and informative advice. I have learnt a lot while reading all the posts! I am currently 29 weeks pg and for the last few weeks have suffered quite bad soreness/pain on the left side of my pubic bone and inner left thigh. It seems to be exacerbated when I do any exercise, especially swimming. I haven't done any exercise for about 2 weeks to try and let whatever it was heal, and then went swimming again last night, just for a short time. Back to square one! It really hurts again. It hurts to lift my left leg when turning over in bed and when crossing my legs when sitting down. There is also some discomfort when walking. It really feels like a bruised pubic bone together with a pulled muscle. I have mentioned it to my doctor at my last visit and he just dismissed it as a normal function of being pregnant, but none of my friends have ever complained of this. Is it normal? Is there anything I can do to lessen the pain or stop it coming back? Any exercises or anything that might help loosen it up? Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again
