I sent her to X-Ray to measure the size of her Pelvis(We did that in those days.) and teh X-Ray showed a vertex presentation. She came back to the unit and 4 hours alter delivered a Breech baby. I have proof that the baby turned once and in my own mind I am sure that it turned twice. No the films did not get mislabeled,as there was only the one set of pelvimetry films that day. This is a rare circumstance and the closer you get to delivery, the less likely it is to happen. Some physcians will attempt to turn the baby by pushing on the Mother's abdomen. This has varying success, but is helpful when it works.
