Re: Severe pelvic pain

You need to speak to your OBGYN. The reasons for the discomfort are numerous but your OBGYN could get an idea speaking to you and examining you.

At the end of the day, this is a joint decision between you and your OBGYN. Only you know how severe your pain is. Your OBGYN can help you make a decision as to whether the balance on relieving your pain (if indeed induction will) weighs correctly against the increased risks of your baby developing respiratory distress and other problems associated with a premature baby.
