I am going to be pregnant this summer and i wanted to know why I am not supposed to sun tan while i am pregnant. will it harm my baby? I usually go to the tanning salon for the first month of summer and then tan in the sun for the rest of the summer.

i know that your hormones are not the same durring pregnancy, but as long as it is not harmful for the baby, why not?
