2-vessel umbilical cord in future pregnancies ?

I recently experienced a fetal demise at the end of my 26th week of pregnancy. The still birth occurred because of early-onset severe Pre-eclamsia and poor placental performance. I am trying research on complications that might happen in a future pregancy. One of the problems noted in the pregnancy was a 2 vessel umbilical cord or a single umbilical artery. Is having single umbilical artery considered random or there is a recurrence rate in future pregnanies?
