Explain your fears to your Obstetrician. Ask questions about other forms of analgesia and anesthesia. You don't have to have an epidural. In fact it is something few women outside of this country have. This is not something you should be getting all worked up about, so please get it worked out with your physician. If he or she can't help you with this, it is early enough to get another.
