InductionFrom: Christopher (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 17 Mar 1999 12:20:18 -0500
I just thought I'd update y'all. I started the whole Cervidil/Cytotec question a few weeks ago in preparation for the possibility that I'd need to be induced again. Well, it's looking like I may be four for four. My fundal height hasn't increased since 35w5d when I measured 36. I am now 38w5d and am still measuring a scant 36cm. My midwife can also feel every elbow, knee, foot and shoulder with no problem. I'm off for an U/S this afternoon and depending on what that shows I may or may not be induced in the next 24-48 hrs. We're going to try the Cervidil hoping for the same results as last time even though this induction would be a full two weeks earlier. I'll keep you posted. Karen P.S. Is oligohydramnios often a recurrent problem? If I do have oligo again it would make it three out of four pregnancies.
