Herbs to assist with laborFrom: Christine (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 13 Mar 1999 23:50:13 -0600 (CST)
I'm not sure that was a good title for this subject but I am currently almost 34wks pg and want to avoid as much as possible a reoccurance of my first pg that saw me induced after being 10 days late and after that horror I ended up with a c-section. I have been dealing with a herbalist for the last 2 years and she has recommended a herbal combination that I start at 35 wks which contains black cohosh root, squawvine herb, wild yam root, butcher's broom root, red raspberry leaves and devils claw. And in essence what it is suppose to do is strengthen my uterus and prepare it to thin and dilate with time. I REALLY want to avoid what happened last time and would be interested in anyones opinion who feels comfortable with herbal treatment. Thanks,
-- Christine
