Dear Cindy

the short answer is probably nothing. We measure the fundal height routinely looking more for small babies than large, but occassionally finf large measurements. Await the scan result and let your daughter's OB talk you through the result. Its very difficult to speculate. Remember that the fundal height is a product of baby's size, liquor volume, maternal abdominal wall thickness and measurement accuracy!

The range for each gestation is quite large.
