Follow-up" I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I think I had a couple of braxton-hicks contractions this morning before I got out of bed. My whole abdomen got hard for about 20-30 seconds. No pain, just an uncomfortable tightness. I don't remember having these so early last time, and it seems like the ones I had were from excess activity and riding in the car. What's normal for Braxton-hicks contractions in terms of when they start and what can cause them? Do you ever need to contact the doctor because of braxton-hicks?
