That is THE MOST RIDICULOUS thing I have ever heard!!!!!! Tons of women deliver babies of 9, 10 even 11 pounds vaginally.

This on the other hand makes more sense. High BP can be dangerous to mother and child and the baby is often better on the outside for all concerned.
