No.

Your ob-gyn friend is right -- although release of multiple eggs increases the odds of multiple babies, it is by no means a guarantee. I had 3 eggs released, and intrauterine insemination the same day and -- thankfully -- ended up with one baby.

THere is no way, even IVF, of guaranteeing twins. Take your chances and be happy with what you get! Now that I'm a mom, I cannot imagine anyone wanting to have 2 at a time;unless someone invents longer days -- and less need for sleep and food for me -- I couldn't take care of more than one infant at a time.

Sorry, but personal e-mails will not be answered, due to time constraits and the desire to spend as much free time as possible with my husband and baby daughter
