I had this before and it ended up I had a corpus lutuem cyst...the cyst that secretes progesterone during your cycle and should disappear 14 days after ovulation resulting in your period, continues to linger resulting in progesterone level not dropping for your period to result...it took another month for mine to resolve. It was terribly frustrating for me as I was trying to get pregnant at that time.
