I have posted about this before but not really had any responses, I have spoken with my doctor and he seems either not too concerned or stumped with my situation. I had a miscarraige on 11/1/98, I had bleeding for a month, I did not have a D & C. I was told that I could expect a period from 4-11 weeks after the mc. Now almost 4 months later I finally have something that only sortof resembles a period, it is a brown discharge, only spotting, it is more like brown water than it is blood, I have some cramping, kindof like I used to get when ovulating. One day last week, my whole body got so achy and weak, I could hardly move, and I had the chills so bad that my teeth were chattering, this was only for a couple of hours before I went to bed. This was also the day I had the worst of the cramps. The next day all of it was gone and since then it has been off and on. I was just wondering if I could have some sort of infection from the miscarraige, or if there is anything at all this could be besides my 1st period? My doctor said we will wait one more cycle (assuming this is one) and then if it is still like this, then we will do an ultrasound to see if my uterus is looking normal. I would really appreciate some input, I am a little scared now. Thanks Lori
