I am 31 and have had 2 anembryonic pregnancies. The first abortion was in May 1997 and the second in January 1998. After the second one my husband and I have gone through hormone tests, karyotype, Uterus X ray, Toxoplasma tests, etc. but no defect could be found. I was on medication for 3 months (medicines like Ovafar) but did not conceive. In fact my husband and I are planning to go for IVF but I know that it will not stop anembryonic pregnancy. Can you help us please? What causes anembyonic pregnancies and how can we try and prevent it from happening again?
