I too have antiphospholipid syndrome, but was fortunate enough to be diagnosed after only 2 miscarriages. With the help of aspirin and heparin, treatment for antiphospholipid syndrome that is successful around 80% of the time, I now am experiencing the joys of motherhood. While many general ob-gyns can initiate the work up and treatment for antiphospholipid syndrome, I would strongly encourage you to see a reproductive endocrinologist who specializes in recurrent pregnancy loss; such a specialist is much more likely to be up on the latest treatments and is best equipped to investigate all possible causes for your miscarriages. Best of luck to you.
