Elize- It is *extremely* unusual to have 10 miscarriages. Obviously something is wrong, and you should have a comprehensive evaluation by someone who specializes in recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) to find the answer. The success rate for patients with antiphospholipid syndrome who take baby aspirin and heparin (a blood thinner) is somewhere around 80-90%. You can read more at my (free) web page, at http://home.mpinet.net/dahmd Look under "women's health information" then go to the section on "patient education monographs" to find the paper on RPL. Your ob/gyn can work up this condition, or refer you to someone who can. Good luck.
